If you are selling or refinancing your home, you may need a few things from the Clary’s Forest Townhouse Association (CFTA).
Sellers may need a copy of our resale packet, which contains our by-laws, financial information, and other information that you may be obligated to provide the new owner. Please contact us at email@example.com. Resale packets are $75; checks should be made out to Clary’s Forest Townhouse Assn and should be mailed to CFTA at PO Box 221, Columbia MD 21045-0221.
Both sellers and refinancers may need to provide a certificate of insurance. CFTA does not insure individual townhouses. However, we have umbrella coverage and coverage for our common areas and for director and officer fiduciary responsibility. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will have our insurance broker provide the necessary certificate.
Whether you are selling or refinancing, please provide us with notice A MINIMUM of two weeks prior to when you think you will need packets or certificates. We are volunteers, and it takes some time to do the necessary behind-the-scenes work to provide these.
The email@example.com e-mail address is monitored continually, as it forwards to the board’s mobile phone. We generally will provide an initial response within a day, even on holidays and weekends. We can be much more helpful, much more quickly, when you e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org than we can be if you try to call a board member.
